The happening took place August 31st while Messy Marv was in Reno to perform at a nightclub. Lil' Hyfe, an up-and-coming rapper from Berkeley, California, came along with Mess for the performance (Hyfe has released a video of his thoughts on the altercation).
Messy Marv was allegedly beaten by several individuals and robbed at gun point for his jewelry. The perpetrators recorded the occurrence and posted it online.
